In 1958, two brothers borrowed $600 from their mom to open a pizza place in Wichita, Kansas. They called it Pizza Hut because their sign could only hold eight letters.

Papa Johns has over 5,300 locations in 49 countries with 120,000 employees (franchise & corporate). Over 350 million pizzas and 2.8 billion slices are sold every year. They take pride in being ranked #1 in customer satisfaction among national pizza brands for 18 of 20 years. They also receive a 100% score on the human rights campaign corporate quality index. Lastly, Papa Johns is ranked #3 in the pizza category for top food franchises.

Nearly three decades ago, a dentist from Oxford, Mississippi had a vision to turn an abandoned movie-set diner into a small, yet charming, neighborhood restaurant & gathering place.

That vision became a reality when the first McAlister’s opened its doors in 1989. The menu then would still feel familiar today packed with the craveable sandwiches, spuds and salads we’re known for – and of course our famous McAlister’s Sweet Tea.

Not only has our menu remained true to its roots, so have our values. Today, with more than 400 restaurants in 28 states, we’re still dedicated to serving great food with genuine hospitality. Growing up in a family that is both entrepreneurial and built on decades of fire and police service, it seems Chris Sorensen and Robin Sorensen were destined to start Firehouse Subs®.

Of course they tried other things along the way to their American Dream – rock ’n’ roll, real estate, and even Christmas tree farming. But everything they experienced on their path led them to opening the first Firehouse Subs. Over 27 years later, we have more than 1200 restaurants.

Founded in 1988, Cold Stone Creamery has grown to many locations in the United States and in multiple markets. Now, after 34 years in business, Cold Stone Creamery continues to thrive by offering the Ultimate Ice Cream Experience®: a super-premium, artisanal ice cream that is made fresh in our stores, an endless array of mix-in combinations that allows customers to dream up their own Creations™, and exceptional customer service that is full of cheer, song and smiles.

Sweet Frog Premium Frozen Yogurt began when an entrepreneur and his family moved to Richmond, VA, in 2009. At that time, frozen yogurt shops were primarily located on the West Coast, but they became attracted to the concept because of its simplicity and low cost. Even in the midst of an unfriendly economy, they felt the time was right to enter the frozen yogurt market. The first Sweet Frog store opened later that year in the Short Pump subdivision of Richmond.

Today, Sweet Frog has grown by leaps and bounds (or hops)! Currently, Sweet Frog has over 300 locations in the United States and several more internationally. In Fall 2018, Sweet Frog was acquired by a wholly-owned subsidiary of MTY Food Group and is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona.
